About the Position
Business Broker
​
We're looking for someone who are is sharp, energetic, and full of integrity.
A background in finance, real estate, healthcare, or business will be very useful.
A background in mergers and acquisitions is useful but not required -- we'll happily train people when we see potential.
​
This position is an Independent Contractor.
Responsibilities

Keep up to date with company-published market and geographical trends;

Join our podcast episodes and interviews;
-
Create content that we can use to promote across social platforms;
-
Respond to leads in a timely manner and nurture them through the sales process;

Prospect new lead generation through in person meetings, phone calls, and social media;
-
Maintain a lead generation database / CRM;
-
Be active in your community and within your established sphere of influence;
-
Educate clients about the business sale processes and timelines;
-
Liaise between buyers and sellers to ensure a satisfactory transaction;
-
Prepare letters of intent, contracts, and other business administration paperwork as needed for the sale;
-
Negotiate purchase agreements, manage client issues, and coordinate with third party entities;
-
Develop and maintain relationships with with partners to help support our clients.
Qualifications
-
Hold an active real estate license
-
Have experience owning or operating a small business
-
Understand business financial statements
-
Able to evaluate and weigh multiple offers
-
Comfortable negotiating on behalf of clients
-
Able to support due diligence
-
Top-notch written and verbal communication skills
-
Be committed to yourself, your team, your clients
-
Ability to travel within your market
Compensation
Business Brokers are independent contractors and paid on 100% commission. The commission structure will be shared during the interview process.
